You are likely to begin the year on a quest for some kind of answer. It may be the answer to the age old question of the meaning of life, or it may be answers to more personal questions, or simply, what the heck is going on in the world? There may have been times during 2025 when it felt as though reality was collapsing in some way, whether it was your mental state or more tangible affairs. You can expect a little more of this in 2026 as Saturn and Neptune continue their journey in earnest through the sphere of your invisible realms, which is likely to result in a degree of uncertainty. Your dreams for example, may get a little more weird or vivid; you may experience strange visions, kundalini rising, or synchronicities, coincidences and communication from soul or spirit. However, you also need to be wary of placing too much weight on that which you can’t explain because if you do you could easily find yourself sliding down a rabbit hole which feels a lot like Alice in Wonderland, but which never ends. Whilst it’s important to develop a spiritual life which supports you, it would be advisable to not pay too much attention to any glitches in reality, or to rely too much on what you think is intuition because your judgement may be off and you could easily become prone to delusions, deceptions and downright strangeness which leave you unsettled. For this reason, it would be wise to avoid drugs, alcohol and too much escapism. Instead, concentrate on becoming more of a person of power and authority in the outside world, for Pluto’s residence in your success zone suggests that now is the time to step up and be noticed. If you have an ambition, Pluto will help you realise it. If you’re unhappy with your career Pluto will help to raze it to the ground so that you can find something better. If retirement looms then now is the time to start planning and preparing so that you’re not caught short in the future. But even if you find yourself stepping down or leaving a job, you’re not going to be allowed to take the easy or quiet life because Pluto has plans for you which involve being more than you were before. This is aided and abetted by Uranus moving into your house of money from the end of April, and you can expect some sort of financial change, such as a shift in your income, a loss or increase in savings or investments, or a lucky win or other gain, such as an inheritance. The possibilities for financial and material change are wide open but the purpose of any instability is to get your material life in alignment with your values. If that’s already a pretty close match then any changes are likely to be of a positive nature, such as the aforementioned income increases, lucky wins or payouts. If however, you’re simply working to pay the bills, or if you’re too attached – or conversely – too dismissive of money, then prepare for some surprises as Uranus teaches you the importance of all things financial. This is the time to be innovative and to step outside your normal parameters, so don’t be afraid to be different. You may want to consider work in alternative or futuristic areas, such as astrology, vibrational healing, channelling, technology, AI, or metaphysics. It’s an ideal time to let go of your old beliefs where money is concerned so that you can experience greater freedom and happier times. Poverty isn’t good, but neither is selling your soul in favour of financial gain; ideally you will be somewhere in between the two. If not, expect this year to help you find a happy medium.

It’s precisely because your material life might undergo a shakeup in conjunction with the psychologically destabilising influence of Saturn and Neptune, that you will need some kind of grounding ritual to keep yourself feeling sane. Find what works for you; it could be a daily walk in the woods. It could be the morning cup of tea and biscuits. It could be an evening soak in a candle-lit bath. It could be a meal where the family gathers to connect and support each other. The latter may feel particularly important this year, as Jupiter will be arriving in your home and family zone from July bringing joy, abundance, new possibilities and happiness to this area of life. It could be time for a house move or a new addition to the family. Or it could be that your home and family unit becomes a greater source of joy or that you find your spiritual home. So if you struggle to find continuity and security in your material world, take solace in that which really matters.

So whilst 2026 is going to be a year of material change and inner uncertainty, the one thing you can count on is your family, and perhaps that’s the only answer you need.
