Whilst your life will hopefully not resemble a psychological thriller in 2026, there is likely to be an overriding sense of not quite knowing where you are. This is largely down to the combined effect of Saturn, Neptune and Uranus altering the main structures of your life; your home, family and finances being the main areas in question. It begins with Saturn and Neptune aligning at zero degrees of your money zone in February, effectively pressing the reset button on your financial world, enabling you to wipe the slate clean and begin with a completely new modus operandi. Saturn’s role in proceedings is likely to coincide with increasing financial responsibility. As such, it may be a time requiring hard work, patience and discipline. Maybe this is where you strive to become master of money, or when you have to become more mature and disciplined. It’s worth remembering that effort will be rewarded when Saturn is around so work now to reap the benefits later on. Neptune’s presence meanwhile, signifies a need to not be too attached to money and to take life’s materials ups and downs with equanimity. The combined effect of these two planets in your money zone is likely to be disorientating and uncertain at times, requiring some sort of dissolution, sacrifice or reality check.

Another area of your life which is likely to shift and change is your domestic scene. This could range from a house move to disruption within the family unit. Obviously, if you want to move then this will be welcome news; likewise if you need to experience liberation from a difficult family situation then that too will be welcome. It’s also good news if you want freedom from your past – Uranus will make sure this year that you are no longer bound and fettered by whatever happened to you in yesteryear. It’s also good news if you want to liven things up a bit at a fundamental level. Perhaps this is the year to move the furniture around or make your home a haven for alternative ideas, people and activities. Or maybe a family member could leave, enabling you to have more space and freedom, and to rediscover the person you were before you became obligated to others.

So if you are experiencing any difficulties and limitations regarding your home or family then Uranus’ arrival in Gemini in spring is very good news. What’s not so good is if things have become too safe, stale and stagnant at home. In this case Uranus might look at your situation and question whether you have become too comfortable, or too attached to your bricks and mortar, or too willing to put up with a situation that hinders your freedom and authenticity. An example of this might be a hen-pecked husband whose wife gives him no freedom. Or caring for a family member which increasingly like an albatross around the neck. Or the unhappy wife going through the motions of domestic drudgery when deep down she longs to travel the world or to express her creativity. In cases like these where the individual has sacrificed or suppressed their need to be themselves, Uranus will have a lot to say. In these cases expect a lightning bolt to suddenly liberate you and breathe new life into your domestic sphere.

But if you can’t count on your domestic world to be solid and stable, or your finances to bring security, what can you count on? Well, your gold stars this year can be found within your creativity, your health and your work. The latter two areas will begin to blossom and benefit from July when Jupiter moves into Leo and brings positive developments to your health as well as your work and service. Prior to that Jupiter will be enhancing your capacity to relax, have fun and invite pleasure into your world. This could mean enjoying your hobbies or artistic interests, or it could mean enjoying time with children or animals. Either way, there’s a playful spirit to the first half of the year which should enable you to take your pleasures where you find them. This capacity to live more from the heart will stand you in good stead should you find it difficult to rely on the material side of life. You may be learning that money, success and property isn’t everything and if you experience a failure or disappointment in this sphere you can be sure that the universe is trying to get you back in touch with your soul. And that ultimately, is what 2026 is all about: throwing off the shackles of your past so that you can experience the joy of reconnecting with who you really are, and finding the place that truly feels like home.
