2026 is going to be a year in which journeys of one sort or another become the central theme. It won’t be enough to stay nestled in your comfort zone, living by the same old routines and having the same kind of experiences with the same people. Life is calling you to something bigger, something more exploratory, and ultimately, something which will awaken and expand you, body, mind and soul. And so the big question to ask as you enter this year of new beginnings is, where do you want to go, and who do you want to take with you? The latter question may be the tricky one as Saturn and Neptune meet in your relationship zone and this is the one area of your life where you will need to think carefully before acting. But whatever the state of play in your relationships, Saturn and Neptune’s conjunction at zero degrees of Aries will effectively offer some kind of powerful new beginning. Think of it as a reset, whereby whatever has happened in the past will be erased so that you can begin something completely new. 2026 therefore, is likely to see a shift – possibly quite a big one – in your personal life, with either one relationship ending, another one beginning or a renewal of an existing one. The theme of commitment may be relevant and yet you may also have to make a sacrifice or experience an element of disappointment or sadness. But don’t linger too long within any sadness because there is a new life waiting for you; Jupiter’s presence in your career and direction zone during the first half of the year will see to it that your path is sprinkled with fairy dust and is particularly good news as far as your ambitions are concerned, so this could be a year in which your career blossoms with a promotion or a realization of your vocational dreams. Alternatively, you could find yourself making a choice that opens up a whole new world. It would be advisable then to watch out for doors opening and to step through the one which seems to glitter and sparkle.

From July, when Jupiter moves into your social zone, you can expect your expansion in the world to step up a gear, especially if you have a dream, as this is the year when your hopes and wishes are likely to be granted. It’s also a great year if you want to make a difference in the world, so if you consider yourself a lightworker then 2026 is the year when your long-range goals will blossom. Another positive aspect of Jupiter’s position this year is that your social life will expand and become more enjoyable. It is likely for example, that you will either make a new friend or join a group or organisation that resonates with your ideals. This could be the year that you find your tribe and enjoy the feeling of connecting with like-minded souls. So if your social life has lacked sparkle then you can expect all that to change this year, especially in the second half of 2026.

It is important that you’re ready and willing to push out of your comfort zone, because the planets want you to be a bigger part of the world and to experience new things. Uranus moving into your adventure zone at the end of April indicates a time when staying within your comfortable parameters will not be acceptable. This applies mainly to your mindset and it is likely that various incidents will show you that your thinking has become too narrow and confining. Look at being innovative and open to new concepts. Uranus is the planet of awakening and the breaker of patterns, and in the area of the higher mind it’s almost a cert that your consciousness is going to expand and jolt from an old paradigm into a new one. What you once thought was true may suddenly change; what you once believed impossible may be blown out of the water. Old belief systems may shatter leaving you with a crystal clear vision of the truth. All of this is great if you are ready to experience new horizons and new worlds. Who knows what this may involve or where it might take you, but you can be sure that it will be exciting and revelatory. This will be of great help if you are involved in mystical or metaphysical subjects that push the boundaries of what is known: astrology, quantum physics, astronomy, the Tao, channelling, science fiction, meditation, dream work, and so on. You won’t go far wrong this year if you can live by the Star Trek mantra and ‘boldly go where no one has gone before’. When you return you’ll be in the right place to act as a guide or illuminator for others.

Remember this if at times you feel resistant to seeing things in ways that rattle your established order or which threaten your comfort zone. 2026 is destined to be a year of expansion and awakening, so if it feels exciting, new, different, and yes, a little bit scary too, then you’re on the right path. You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs and this is the year when you need to get creative and daring in the cosmic kitchen of life.
